Worship at Florence Christian Church invites all people to experience a sense of belonging and connection with God and with others. In worship, we praise and honor God; lift up Jesus’s grace, love, and mercy; and learn what the Holy Spirit may be teaching us in this season of life. Worship creates a foundation for growing in our faith and for understanding how our spiritual gifts, hearts’ desires, and God’s will intersect and compel bold service, allowing us to become Jesus’s hands and feet. In this holy, sacred environment of worship, we express our gratitude by encouraging and caring for each other and for people throughout the world.

We have two services on campus at 9 AM and 11 AM. The 9:00 AM service focuses on rebuilding traditions, while the 11:00 AM service focuses on rebuilding our celebrations.

All are welcome to attend.  Reservations are not required and seating is not limited.  Due to the COVID-19 delta variant escalation in infections in our community, we ask that everyone wear a face covering.

Children have a special moment in the worship service and have the option to leave the sanctuary after the Children’s Moment to delve deeper into the lesson. Children will return to the sanctuary to partake in Communion if they choose.

We have one Live Streaming online worship services at 11:00 AM Eastern broadcast on our website, Facebook page and YouTube channel.  The service incorporates prayer, scripture, praise music, a children’s blessing and preaching. The service remains on our YouTube channel in the “Live Worship” playlist. It is available 24/7 around the globe for all to experience the abundance of God’s welcome.

Offering and Communion

Both on campus and online services include offering. All are invited to support the ministries of Florence Christian Church by donating online or text your donation amount to (859) 755-4040. You can even set up a recurring donation to continually support us.

All are welcome to God’s table of abundant love, grace and acceptance.  For those attending on campus, grape juice is used so as not to prevent any suffering from addictions coming to the table. Gluten free options are available to allow those with food allergies to come to the table.

If attending communion at home, please partake by using items you have around your house.
