Discover Zone Preschool and Childcare, a ministry of Florence Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Florence, KY, announces the open position of Executive Director.

We are seeking an experienced, organized and strategic leader to advance our mission of providing value-based educational childcare where children discover their world in a nurturing, safe, Christian environment. The Executive Director will set a tone of radical welcome for our children and parents and care for our families by leading and equipping our staff team, managing the curriculum and childcare environments, and ensuring that we operate in a financially responsible and sustainable way on our way to become a five star program.

Part-Time Resource Connector for Fresh Start Shower Ministry

The Fresh Start Shower Ministry of Florence Christian Church is excited to be expanding our paid staff by adding a Resource Connector. Join us in our mission to make a difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness. If you are a dedicated caseworker with a heart for service and a commitment to empowering individuals, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding part-time position.

As an outreach ministry of Florence Christian Church, the Fresh Start Shower Ministry affirms dignity through a safe and welcoming place with showers and restrooms. The Resource Connector will play a crucial role in providing holistic support to our shower guests, connecting them with the resources and services they need to navigate their path towards self-sustainability. This position requires a deep commitment to our mission and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of those facing homelessness.

The schedule will be set for 20 hours per week aligning with the operational hours (Monday-Friday 10 am – 2 pm) of the Fresh Start Shower Ministry. The Resource Connector will primarily work on-site at the Fresh Start Shower Ministry, interacting directly with guests and collaborating with the team. Your pay will be based upon experience and education with a minimum starting wage of $19/hour.
