Florence Christian Church has been a presence in Northern Kentucky since 1831, having a rich history of service to our community. For example, the church was used as a hospital during the Civil War and later, during the 1937 Flood, the church was used to dry out laundry from Booth Hospital. Based upon community needs, an Early Childcare Center, after school programming and Senior Center were established in 1978.

Florence has always had a heart for the hurting and marginalized and has used its facilities to support healing and wholeness ministry through recovery groups, encouragement and help for the poor and disenfranchised, scouting, and youth sporting programs. Whether outside or inside the church plant, Florence Christian Church has always held as one of its core values loving and serving our community as Christ calls us to serve.
