~ On Being Whole ~
Health Ministries promotes “whole person” wellness through a variety of approaches. Each month there is a mental and physical health focus consistent with the US Health & Human Services’ National Health Observances. The monthly focus is lifted up in newsletters, bulletins, special Sunday emphasis, and educational material made available to the congregation and community. Monthly blood pressure screening Sundays and annual flu shot Sunday have long been a tradition at Florence Christian. In addition, special requests for information and education on individual health concerns are frequently accommodated.
